Optometry Giving Sight is a global fundraising initiative that specifically targets the prevention of blindness and impaired vision due to uncorrected refractive error – simply the need for an eye exam and a pair of glasses. 1.22 billion1 people are unnecessarily blind or vision impaired simply because they don’t have access to an eye examination and appropriate glasses; including tens of millions of children with uncorrected myopia. Your donations allow Optometry Giving Sight to fund the solution by supporting programs that:

  •     Train – local eye care professionals
  •     Establish – optometry schools and vision centers for sustainability
  •     Deliver – eye care and low cost glasses.

We are proud to support Optometry Giving Sight and have a collection box located at our Check out station for donations. Every Friday, employees of Professional Eye Care have the opportunity to wear jeans if they donate $5 to Optometry Giving Sight.
